Generate OAuth Signature base String authHeader not created

    Dear CA,

     

    I am running the Generate OAuth Signature Base String assertion. The <prefix>.authHeader context variable that is indicated should be created is NOT. All other assertion variables look correct. What are potential causes for this to NOT be created? Also is this the value that needs to be added to the Route via HTTP assertion when selecting 'Use OAuth Authorization' or should the <prefix>.sigBaseString value be used?

    Dan,

     

    Good morning. The documentation does not make it clear when this is set. The context variable will only work in Server mode of the assertion when it can extract an OAuth 1.0 out of the authorization header or other source based on Authorization Header checkbox.
