  • 1.  What configuration changes are required if the jasper reports repository database is moved to a new server

    We use jasper reports for Spectrum reporting.  Our jasper reports data repository is a Microsoft SQL 2008r2 database. We need to move the database to a new SQL 2012 server.  If the database migrated to a SQL 2012 database, what configuration changes are required to point the jasper reports to the new repository server?

    Hi Brian,


    I don´t see that this is documented as we only document mysql database here  (Install CABI JasperReports Server - CA Spectrum - 10.2 to 10.2.2 - CA Technologies Documentation )

    It would be best to open a support issue so we can check with our Engineering team for the best way to perform a migration of databases for SQL 2012 without any data loss.
