  • 1.  Retrieving packaging from public interface tables

Does anyone have a query that retrieves the packaging from the public interface tables? If like to be able to map from the main load module/cics transcode down to each Proc Step and the action blocks/modules contained within it. Manually I can go into the encyclopedia and expand the packaging one load module at a time but I'm looking for the info from the whole module.

    Hi David,

part of the information you want can be found in the 'Object Cross Reference IMPLEMENTS Report', available in both CSE and HE.   Run it on load module ( server, window or online lm ).

Note the report doesn't give implementation names.

You can also use the Model Action Block Use Report. it gives you the packaging information for Load Modules that includes all the objects packaged with in. It also lists if the element is Dynamic or Static linked, the Owning Business System and the call level ( 2 for AB2 if AB1 calls AB2).

This report is also available on the Host Encyclopedia and the CSE.
