I have provided a group with a read access rights to all the applications (on the application list) and then allow them to edit only the apps of a certain OBS level.

I provided a global access rights:

Application - View - All

Application - Navigate

Then I provided OBS access rights to the level I want them to edit their applications 

users of that group can't see the application name in the application list (They see all the other attributes in the list, except for the name). They can only see the application name where they have the OBS access rights granted.  

Why is this happening? any ideas?

That does not sound right.

Is it all users in the group?

Which CA PPM version.

Restart the app server(s) to flush the caches.

Flush the browser cache.

Few things to look at(if not done already):

   - Can the same users see Application Name in Properties view?

   - Is Application Name part of secured sub page for which these users do not have access?

   - Is it the correct field that is configured in List view?
