  • 1.  How to update an xml tag value with dynamic value in CA DEVTEST?

    Hi,

     

     

    I have an xml with following content:

     

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
    <vconifg>
     <mappings>
      <mapping>
                <name>test</name>
                <vid>396998</vid>
                <rname>Project Test</raname>
                <rid>40094383110</rid>
               <importfilter>All</importfilter>
            </mapping>
     </mappings>
    </vconifg>

     

     

    How can I update vid tag value with dynamic value which I have stored in previous step in a variable?

    Please do suggest.

    Hi Mohammed,

     

    You have almost completed the parametrization. As you have stored the value in a variable or Property just parametrize it in the response like {{vid}}.
