How could we maintain a single session with siteminder, instead of the user authenticating to multiple times at different browsers?Which mean once user login in at one web browser he should not be allowed to do so.
Limit Concurrent Login for CA Single Sign-On
Customers of CA Single Sign-On may need the ability to limit the number of times that a single user canbe “logged into” the system. This prevents a single user from authenticating and accessing their sitefrom two or more different browser instances simultaneously. Since web sessions are connectionless, the session is not necessarily maintained between the browser and web server at all times. This makesit extremely difficult to determine when a session ends and thus to track or limit multiple simultaneoussessions by the same user.
Note : This is a GD module - Contact your CA Account Manager for more information.
Do you mind providing descrptive title while opening new questions ?
So instead of having just "siteminder" for this thread.. you could have something like "limit multiple login /allow single login for user etc" ?
This will help everyone to quickly get an idea of what this thread is about..
(PS : I am changing this one for you now )
