  • 1.  Unable to login to Siteminder UI

    Hi All,

     

    I am facing an issue where in when I am trying to login to the Siteminder UI I am getting an error as,

    Error: Unable to process logins. Please contact your administrators.

     

    I am checking the event viewer on the server and could see the following entry,

    Info: The server is initializing Event: 1002

    Error: The server failed to initialize Event: 5000

    Info: The server is shutting down. Event: 1001

     

    These errors are coming continuously. I have done a service restart on the server, tried logging in multiple times but its failing with similar error everytime.

    Siteminder version used is 12.52 SP01 CR01

     

    Can someone please check and let me know what might be causing the issue and how can it be resolved.

    Please ensure Policy server is up and running.

    If it is, check if there is any error during the time of admin ui login…

    Hi Ujwol,

     

    The policy server is up and running fine.

    I checked the smps.log in the policy server and see no logs being generated at the time of admin ui login.

    Can you try to re-register the adminui as per the below KB article and try accessing the UI:

    Hi Pankaj,

     

    Check the connectivity of Policy Store from Smconsole . (Smconsole>Data >Policy Store>Test connection )
