    Hi!

    We have installed CA Service Management Integrated Environment (CA SDM and Service Catalog), And we know that if we want to access to the full integrated product capability we need to use the USS url.

    But, we if we need only one kind of single capability, for example, access to catalog capability only, or access to service desk capability only, Is it enough to publish only one of the urls?

    The documentation is clear to show three escenarios;

    If you had CA service magnagement integrated enviroment, you can acces to both SDM and Catalog capabilty

    if you had CA Service Desk Manager enviroment you can access to SDM capability

    If you had CA Service Catalog Enviroment you can access to Catalog capability

    But is not clear if is possible to access only one capability, when you had a full CA integrated enviroment.

    Felix, in the url entry, if you enter the url for the sdm server mobile app(http://sdm-server:8050 where 8050 is the default port), you will access sdm mobile app directly, even you have a full and integrated env. This means, if you publish/make available this url, you have your users access to sdm mobile app only. This can be done by placing a sdm secondary or app server in the DMZ. Thanks _Chi

    Felix,

    In extension to Chi's answer - if you point the app to Catalog URL,  then only Catalog components are displayed.  If you point it to SDM (REST URL), then only SDM components are displayed.

    So, if you do not publish only of the above URLs for your teams to use, then they would  only get access to that component.
