  • 1.  How do I calculate flow rate for a Netflow Collector?

    We have NFA 9.3.3 and I see the Flow Statistics in the Admin section.  It shows Min Flow Rate, Max Flow Rate and Avg Flow Rate, etc.  What units are in play?   Flows per second (fps)?  If it's not the actual flows per second how do I calculate it?

    It's flows per minute, not per second.

    Hi ,

     

    it is some flows/minute .

    There is similar data in the ../netflow/harvester-wrapper.log .

    This ties into the sizing of your NFA Harvesters. If you have too much flow then considering getting a new Harvester.
