  • 1.  ITAM R17.1 without USS

    IT Asset Management upgrade to R17.1 fails on the integration step. We do not have USS running however we do have an old entry in the database referring to an USS install. The install/upgrade utility tries 90 times to connect to the uss port 8686 and then fails on the integration step. How do I continue the install to the next steps if we do not have a running USS system?

    Have you tried running the Database Cleanup Utility that is documented at Run the Database Cleanup Utility - CA Service Management - 17.0 - CA Technologies Documentation

    Paul, we ran it before we did the upgrade to 17.1

    I'd recommend raising a case with Support on this one as the database cleanup should have helped.
