Creating SubDomain inside Domain

    Hi Team,

    Anybody has created SubDomain inside Domain, I know OOB it is not possible. As one level of grouping will not be able to cater our security requirement. If anybody has achieved that through any customization/3rd part tool as well then I will be glad to know that as well.

    Let me give you an example.

    Domain will be created department wise and the Subdomain will be created App wise.

     

    Can we force the Agent to capture the hostname we wanted it to capture and display in the APM console? I know we can change the customProcess and agentName in the introscopeAgent.profile file but not sure about hostname.

    You can change the hostname: introscope.agent.hostName=myhostname
