    Hi,

I am trying to configure CA Spectrum 10.2 to send email.I am bit confused about the configuration:

What should be the entries in:

    • /etc/hosts of oneclick server.
    • SMTP server host
    • SMTP server domain

Can you please explain with gmail mailserver as example.

    Thanks,

    Sheethal

    Sheethal,

I think if you have G Suite accounts you should be able to configure Gmail in CA Spectrum Email Configuration.

    SMTP Server Host: smtp-relay

    SMTP Server Port: 25

    SMTP Server Domain: gmail.com

Unfortunately I was not able to setup this configuration because I only own a regular Gmail account.

admin.google.com is for G Suite accounts only. Regular Gmail accounts cannot be used to sign in to admin.google.com

    Additional information:

    Thanks,

    Silvio

    Sheethal,

You can use this as a reference

    - Run the following command from a command prompt:

    - Mail -h SMTP Hostname -u Return Hostname - m Domain Name

       EX: mail -h smtp.ca.com -u spectrum -m ca.com

    - Restart the Alarm notifier for the changes to take place.

Note - Change the values as per your server configuration.
