  • 1.  Unable to Generate Report in CA APM through Workstation

    Hi Team,

     

    We have CA APM of version 10.5.2 SP2. It is installed on redhat linux box.

     

    We are facing a issue while generating reports through workstation. 

     

     

    Kindly guide me in order to resolve the issue.

    Hello Anunranjan,

     

    1) I would check the LAX file and see If "-Djava.awt.headless" is set as true "-Djava.awt.headless=true", If not set as true and restart the MOM.

    2) If above yes, try to enable Workstation Client log or If using Webstart, enable Java log, check if there is any relevant message inside the log. Copy for us, so we can help.

    I've never had any problems like this with reports, and I've generated thousands of this objects.
    Could You please inspect, or provide, the MOM log?

    Seems to be a Asian based report, have you done the below recommendation:

     

    Configure the Workstation for Asian-language reports - CA Application Performance Management - 10.0 - CA Technologies Do…

    Hi Gustavo,

     

    As per my understanding adobe/acrobat is needed after the report generation to read the report.

     

    In above case, not able to generate the report. Getting error while generating the report.

     

    Correct if i am wrong.  Thanks for your suggestion.

    Hey Anuranjan,

     

    That`s weird, I am not sure If this Japanese character inside the agent should be the problem, It is happening with all Agents or just with this Tomcat? Have you tried to use the CLW, just for test?

     

    We may need to track that, Hallett_German would be better Anuranjan open a support ticket?

    We are getting this error for every agent in it. 

     

    As of now we are not using CLW.
