  • 1.  CEM vs Introscope (Errors per Intervals)

    Hi team,

Currently I have implemented CA APM 10.5.1, CA CEM, CA TIM ...

The client needs to make a match between the following variables:

    - Errors per intervals (Metrics extracted from the TIM) vs Errors per intervals at the FrontEnd level (Introscope)

From this it is necessary to establish if the errors that appear in both scenarios are the same. What correlation do you have?
    - How these errors affect the user experience.
    - Which transactions affect the errors that occur at the frontend level.

    Thanks for help me

    Hi Richard,

So Errors Per Interval for a Frontend app on Introscope will cover errors detected by the agent at the AppServer level for that app.

The Errors Per Interval (from CEM/TIM) for the Business Transaction corresponding to that app should in theory be at least the above value (there is also potential for other errors at the real user frontend that did not occur at AppServer).

As an aside there is also the Browser Agent extension which provides web page error information:

Browser Agent - CA Application Performance Management - 10.5 - CA Technologies Documentation ->

Browser Agent - CA Experience Collector - CA Technologies Documentation

Hope that helps. There may be additional information that can be provided by other users on this topic.

    Regards,
