  • 1.  Error connecting to DB2 from DataMaker and Portal

    Hi

     

    I am getting below error while connecting to DB2 DB from Datamaker.

     

    IBM][CLI Driver] SQL1598N An attempt to connect to the database server failed because of a licensing problem. SQLSTATE=42968

     

    Are there any resolution steps that needs to be followed.

    Shivani,

     

    If you are connecting to db2 mainframe please make sure that the db2 connect licenses are applied and you have the jars in the corresponding TDM folders. Please refer the below links for more information.

    This is a problem with the driver licensing, not with TDM/Datamaker. Reference:

    Please contact IBM if you require additional assistance in getting the driver properly licensed/configured on this host.
