  • 1.  RDK with OAUTH Authentication

I have a web service that I want to call using RDK, however it requires an OAUTH 1 Authentication token to be passed to it.  The only way I can potentially do this, as I see it, is to compute the OAUTH token ahead of time and pass it as a parameter into the RDK action, which then simply uses it to create an authentication header.

Is there any other way to approach this problem?  Have any of you used RDK to call an OAUTH authentication service?

    Hi Timothy

I did search around but did not found any other information on using OAUTH with RDK .

As far as i know at the moment this is not implemented . There is a idea on the communities to add

OAuth 2.0 support to RA .

Extend REST authentication to support OAuth 2.0

You may want to vote for that one , to bring it under attention of the product team
