    I issued this command --> set profile(vvvjsul) di(operparm)

    This is the message I received:   ACF0A202 INVALID REQUEST - UNDEFINED STORAGE TYPE

    INVALID REQUEST - UNDEFINED STORAGE TYPE

    Reason:

    A structured Infostorage request referenced an undefined storage type. The storage classes and types for CA ACF2 infostorage applications are defined in the Administrator Guide.

    Action:

    Correct the error and try again.

    Module:

    ACF0AVAL

    I cannot find the CA ACF2 z/OS Administrator Guide...

    Instead of

    set profile(vvvjsul) di(operparm)

    you should use...

    SET PROFILE(USER) DIV(OPERPARM)

    As of version 16, we have migrated the content into the online DocOps platform. We can certainly correct the "guide" reference that you see in the message. In the meantime (if you're still curious), you'll find the information in the Structured Infostorage Records content in the DocOps space.

    Among other things, this content explains how CA ACF2 classifies infostorage records by class, type code (and so on) and describes how to define class codes and create record structure blocks.
