    How can we schedule SMS on mobile phones from spectrum whenever there is an alert or threshold violation.

    Hello,

     

    You can have the AlarmNotifier sending the SMS whenever an alarm is assert.

    Different Alarm Scripts in Spectrum 

     

    You can use the SANM (Spectrum Alarm Notification Manager) to start and end sending the SMS in a daily basis.

    There is no ability to define an end to the schedule, as the assumption is made that a different schedule will be in place if/when the current one needs to change.
    The Start of the new one would bring the end of the current.
    Basically schedule the policy to associate to the default policy at a certain time, then have the default policy do nothing.

    Hi Silvio

     

    We are already using alarm notifier to send e-mail alerts.Can it send an SMS on phone or make a phone call too?

    Below two articles will provide you with some basic steps to get started . There is a bit of configuration needed from Spectrum and the below articles should help you with that. You would also need to work with your SMS Gateway provider for configuration need once spectrum triggers the notification , this part might be specific to the gateway being used
