Tech Tip:  A Recording Problem Was Solved by Upgrading

A customer recently opened a ticket because he was getting an error message trying to view some of the larger recordings. It looked like a memory issue, but the message specifically referred to Java Heap Space. We tried having specifying more memory in both Java and the PAM client, but this did not help.  Before we could get any further in troubleshooting, the customer reported that he'd upgraded to 3.1.1 and the problem was solved.  The upgrade would have resulted in the upgrade of the PAM Client on the next connection.  It would have also resulted in the new jars being downloaded, after clearing the Java cache.  This is not a direct correlation, but you should keep it in mind should you encounter the same problem.
