 We are running some scripts in daily basis , we are looking to monitor the output log status . Need a alert if there is any string matches with "ERROR" .It need to check the log file date and trigger .Whether it possible to schedule logmon once in day for this requirement.  

No, not directly.

One of the several solutions is to create the profile in logmon but leave it disabled.

Then use the nexec probe, which supports scheduling, to issue the "runprofile" callback using pu.

It's a little Rube Goldberg-esque but it works.

You can use the probe time specification to activate the probe if you are running just one profile.
