    Dear Team,

I am using very old version of SDM 12.6 and its integrated with CA EEM 12.0.2 for authentication of users from multiple active directory.

Since this version of CA SDM can only  integrate with one AD at a time so creation & updation of user's profile data from AD will not be possible in this case.

Please suggest does it make any sense to integrate SDM with CA EEM since I have to update the users' profile by data load method and in this case i can use the OS authentication functionality so that end user get authenticated from SDM without using the CA EEM tool.

    Thanks,

    Manish

    Hi Manish,

Since with r12.6 and EEM 12.0.2, using EEM for authentication makes no sense as you have no way to point to multiple domains, unless there exists a trust for those domains via a forest. Alternatively, CA SiteMinder might do the trick for you.

Otherwise, please upgrade to latest SDM version (r17.1). What's preventing you from upgrading, considering r12.6 reached EOS almost 2 and half years ago?
