Hi All,  We share same ACF2 database for both development and production.  We are in the planning stages of trying to split the databases, segregate the development dataset rules, resource rules, gso records in devp database,  production dataset rules, resource rules, gso records in Prod database.  Have anyone done this before.  Please advice on how this can be achieved.

    Sujitha,

You can take the backups of the ACF2 databases from the production system
and repro them into newly allocated files on the development system and
then modify/delete/change dataset rules, resource rules, GSO records as needed
in the new development and existing production databases.

Please let us know if you have quesitons. Thanks.

You may also review the ACF2 knowledge doc. 000042178 which identifies the same process that Michael has stated in his reply.
