Customer would like to use AM to do an HTTP POST or GET to a URL. What would be the best approach to do this? Thanks, Susan

Hi Susan. There is one of two ways to think about this. 1) Encourage your customer to join the Web Services v3.0 Beta program. We are about to extend the invitation to all Automic customers. I know that they are an AM customer so the idea of jumping to ONE Automation 2013 may seem like a jump. The good news is that they can learn the tool without setting it up. We have a complete test environment with template jobs in the DMZ for them to play with. Let me know if they want to explore this option. It is the best way to approach Web services. I can't emphasize enough how productive and powerful the new tool is. 2) They can use an open source tool called curl in conjuntion with manual scripting and an OS agent.
