When we lose an agent (which, for various reasons, happens lately even without the host itself having any trouble), many jobs go into the status "ENDED_LOST - host terminated prematurely."
As evidenced by their Report tabs containing output reports, some of the jobs have definitely started and finished, and some of them have not.
However, the status message doesn't discriminate, and as far as I can tell, there's no way in Activities to be sure if the job actually finished. In our last incident, two jobs had Process IDs listed, but another job didn't have a PID and yet it had also started and finished.
I'm not sure whether to trust the Report tab being empty as evidence that the job didn't start.
Any advice? We often have dozens and dozens during even a brief incident, and it's not feasible to check them all manually.
