Hey all, I'm not sure if this can be done/has been done. I'm only a developer so my knowledge of the UC4 Applications Manager (V8) is limited outside of what I can do with the front end. Anyways, here's my issue:
I have an SQL job setup that I'd like the user to be able to enter nothing for a parameter. If nothing is passed in I have logic within the SQL that says "if this variable is null then set it to '%' ". Works great from command line. UC4... not so much.
I think it has to do with our param format being set to "define #v=#d" for our SQL programs. Having it this way is nice since it allows us to map the variable name from the prompt to the "¶meterName" in the SQL script. Our C and Cobol programs are setup with just "#d".
Anybody know if there's a way to set it up to be able to pass blank parameter values to an SQL script?
