    Hi
could you precise the version of your DUAS and your ftp manager, and on which OS they run?

For a first hint, you can use on of the 3 commands in your U_ANTE_UPROC to do the job :

    ·      uxsurjob( Not available on VMS) Oversees the elapsed time of a uproc and interrupts it if it exceeds a predefined limit.

    ·      uxspvjob ( Not available on VMS) Oversees the elapsed time of a uproc and executes a script if it exceeds a predefined limit. (With a precision on the minute level).

    ·      uxalrjob Oversees the elapsed time of a uproc and executes a script if it exceeds a predefined limit. (With a precision on the second level).

    regards,

    François

    Hi,

To complement the suggestions made by Le Slovene, remember the Manager for File Transfer and the ftp Uprocs are just layers above the ftp layer, so the time out is the one defined in your ftp / network settings. So exactly the same time out as if you were outside Dollar Unvierse.
