Upgrade from v9 to v11

We are planning to upgrade from v9 to v11. Has anyone else upgraded directly from v9 to 11? Did you encounter any problems or unexpected changes? We plan to upgrade the Automation Engine first, and then upgrade agents at a later date. Does anyone have experience running v9 agents with a v11 Automation Engine? Thanks in advance.
