Hi guys.
We currently use a single service account from our windows AD to run all automic jobs. We recently had an episode where the account got locked, which caused some havoc, luckily we only have around 5 jobs that run every 5 minutes that were affected. But we have it so it unlock after 30 mins at which point the jobs started working again
i am curious what best practice is for this? Anyone under SOX and how the auditors feel about service accounts that can't be locked. Is it recommended for automic to use an account that cannot be locked? Do you use an extremely long non dictionary password for additional security?
