[Quick Tips] Manage Automation Engine Log.

Discussion created by Tran-Hoang_Hau_348 on Aug 25, 2016
Our current installation is continuously writing logs to the Automation/Temp folder resulting in all available free disk space being consumed on the host machine. Consequently, we are forced to routinely purge this directory.

Q- What recommendations can be offered as to how best overcome the issue?

A. We do have few ways to manage the log files and overcome the current situation.

1. Manually change the logging on for the WP/CP via the User Interface, the WP will start to write the new log immediately

2. Manually control the log file via User Interface, and these setting only valid till the next start

3. Permanent change the WP/CP log settings by editing the two value in UC_SYSTEM_SETTINGS which could be found on client 0

4. Change the WP/CP logs on demand by using our script, we can run the script in any clients.
The script below will change all the WPs logging.
