Questions:
Are the data sent between AE V11 components transmitted in clear text?
That is, can someone with a network sniffer read passwords if sent as a text of a script?
Can they be read if they are part of a logon / connection object??
What out of the box encryption methods are used?

Answer: All the
communication chanel between the individual components in Automic are encrypted with AES-256.

You can easily double check the current setting of your AE server while taking a quick look at the log file
