  • 1.  File Transfer job in 'Ready for start' condition

Anyone tell me why File Transfer job is in 'Ready for start' (System return code 1530) condition for a days. I am trying to send ".zip" files from Windows to Linux destination. I could not find the reason why connection is not established from source to destination.
Tested job and getting response (pinged from Destination to source IP.) but file could not be transferred.

does the connection work with telnet using IP + port?

In this case i would suggest to do an IP9 FT9 Trace and open a ticket in Support.

what does the FT report tell?

a good idea would be looking into both agent logfiles for an err message.

Cp logs would  also be fine to have a look at from the time if error of course :-)

generating a Trace is the last possibility if the other did not provide the cause or an indication.
