How to get all the Packages in Client A to show up in Client B?

Discussion created by Harriet_Kim_1764 on Nov 4, 2016
Scenario:  Client A contains all the packages team A have been working on.  However, team B also needs those packages in Client B.

Question:
How do you get all the packages in Client A to show up in Client B?
Answer:
It is not possible for packages created in Client A to show up automatically in Client B.  You have to create the same packages in Client B as well.  To do this, you can:

1. Export the action packages folders located under the Packages parent folder from Client A in the thick client (UserInterface).
2. Import them to Client B in the thick client.
>>This will allow you to selectively import the packages you only want from Client A to Client B.

However, if you want ALL the packages from Client A to Client B then you can do the following:
Export the parent Packages folder from Client A then import it to Client B via thick client (UserInterface).
>>This will grab all the child folders under the parent Packages folder and put them all in an XML file.  I believe this will be the fastest way to do it.

Note:  This will take some time to import if the XML file contains a lot of objects.
