Schedule objects - reload definition at period turnaround

I noticed that some customers have been confused around the 'reload definition at period turnaround' feature.

Schedule Monitors can be dynamically changed in order to add / remove / cancel certain tasks from a schedule run.
Changes performed in the schedule monitor will not affect the original definition of the Schedule object, and will be carried over in the next period turnaround until the JSCH has finished running (because of Maximum run time settings or manual cancellation for instance), or the "reload definition at period turnaround" option has been enabled.

Therefore "reload definition at period turnaround" does not mean "carry over changes" as this is the default behavior of the schedule monitor.

    Best regards,
    Antoine
