We have a few complex workflows. Is there any way to export one workflow into an Excel file for better documentation and analysis?
For example, we would like to see this spreadsheet in the following format:
    Root Workflow name
    JOBP...
    sub workflow name
    sub JOBP...

==> Unfortunately we dont have the direct way to  export to Excel files, however from the XML files, it can be displayed as excel files.

    1. Export your workflow via the export function as XML file

    2.  Then open the exported XML files by Excel

    3. It will show you as  excel sheet

This covers only one level of objects in the root workflow. It is a daunting task to drill down each sub-workflow for export, especially for a few levels down.

If you want to export with reference object, then we should be in AE V11.2 it will go to all the level of the workflow

"Export with references..." requires you run the JWP service, which is optional with 11.2.

I'm looking forward to experiencing this option though. I'm curious to find out how thoroughly it analyzes what objects a workflow references.   Will it include all objects related to sub-workflows, and their sub-workflows?  And what about variable objects we have coded into PromptSet defaults, FTP requests, and file transfers?
