  • 1.  Where to find the version information of an Automic component?

    Many times when contacting Automic Support, we ask for which Version of the component is in use. 
    The following screenshots will show an easy (or easiest) way to find out what version is being used: 

    Once in the UserInterface navigate to : <System Overview>
    In the System Overview Pop Up, navigate then to <Automation Engine>
    The AutomationEngine-Grid will show the <Version> which is used: Please see screenshot

    Same goes for the Agents:

    A small addition to this post:

    For AWI you'll find the information which AWI UserInterface Version you are using on the Top right side

    For ECC you'll find the information needed the same way:

    Hello,

    the version information is also available in the logs (CP, WP, agent, ...). For example :
    • CP (CPsrv_log_***_xx.txt)
    20170116/143926.235 - U00003400 Server 'AEV11#CP' version '11.2.2+hf.1.build.646'
    • WP (WPsrv_log_***_xx.txt)
    20170116/143918.125 - U00003400 Server 'AEV11#WP' version '11.2.2+hf.1.build.646'
    • DB (WPsrv_log_***_xx.txt or CPsrv_log_***_xx.txt )
    20170116/143953.997 - U00003621 Version of Automation Engine database objects: '11.2.2+hf.1.build.646
    • Windows agent (UCXJWX6_LOG_xx.TXT)
    20170103/140924.191 - U02000000 Started program Agent 'WIN01', version '11.2.2+build.622'
