Setting object to active / inactive in a schedule

As far as I know there is no script to handle active/inactive object in a schedule (MODIFY_TASK only support JOBP).
I'm curious if it will harm the system if we update the ejpp_active flag directly in the DB?
I have similar issue as in https://community.automic.com/discussion/5778/set-objects-in-a-schedule-to-inactive-automatically
The database should never be touched directly while objects are running. This is not supported and could compromise the system's integrity.

There is unfortunately no way to toggle the status of a task contained in a jobplan that I'm aware of. I searched in the script functions and API but could not find any.

I would suggest to contact pm@automic.com or fill in an enhancement suggestion at ideas.automic.com.

Best regards,
Antoine
