Shared Folder in Active/Active Setup - Email job permission denied error

I have an active/active setup with all agents running as SYSTEM. I use an SMB share from SERVER 1 to SERVER 2 so that we can have a common directory for files as we manipulate them.

Often times I have a email job that will send a file out.

My problem is that, depending on which WP the email is assigned to, I get an access denied error for getting to the file. I currently have the share allowing access by ANONYMOUS for testing, and am still recieving this error.

My current workaround is to have the email job execute again upon failure until it 'lucks out' and executes on the right WP.

Any advice here?
