Report directory

Discussion created by Antoine_Sauteron_1266 on May 11, 2017

How is the reports directory maintained/rotated ?

 [root@UNXAgent report]# pwd

/var/opt/uc4/agent/report

Do we have to clean it manually ?

The question is : what does this directory contain ?

It does not look like one of the "standard" default locations:

So reports directory is either a different name used for one of these locations, or it contains something else.

Agent log files are rotated according to rules mentioned inthis post, so there should be no need to delete log files.

However :

  • Disk space usage may grow very fast if traces have been enabled on the agent.
  • If you are storing job reports locally, you will need to do some housekeeping as they will not be overwritten. Besides they have unique names. To check if a job is configured to keep a local copy of  its reports, go to its 'UNIX' tab:
