  • 1.  Sporadic Functionalities in Java UI Stops Working

    From time to time, a functionality in an object stops working.

    User A creates an object in the Java UI.  User B edits the object.  User B finds they are unable to do the following:

    1. Prompt set is not passing the      values from the variable inputs
    2. Unable to set the defaults in      Prompt set parameters
    3. Unable to enter new      recipients on the Recipient tab in an E-mail notification

    Investigation

    AE version 10.0.8 HF1 build 533

    User A specs:
    10.0.2 HF1 build 671
    1.7_55 64-bit

    User B specs:
    UI version 10.0.8 HF1 
    Java version 1.8_102 64-bit

    Solution
    User A should upgrade to the latest build version of the Java UI v10.
    User B duplicates the problematic object.

    Instead of duplicating the object, here is how I was able to enter a new email recipient:  edit object, go to recipients, click on the blank space under recipients, type the email address, and then press "enter" (do not use the mouse because it will erase the email)
