ACTIVATE_UC_OBJECT makes the target object hung in "generating" status

Discussion created by karthikeayan_9058 on Sep 11, 2017
I have a script like below.

:SET &ACTOBJ# = ACTIVATE_UC_OBJECT(JOBS.WEBSERVICEREST.REST.SYSTEM.STATUS)
:WAIT 5
:SET &APP_STATUS# = GET_VAR(VARA.APPLICATION.STATUS, "STATUS")

:WHILE &APP_STATUS# NE "UP"
:  SET &APP_STATUS# = GET_VAR(VARA.APPLICATION.STATUS, "STATUS")
:  PRINT "&APP_STATUS#"
:  WAIT 60
:  SET &ACTOBJ# = ACTIVATE_UC_OBJECT(JOBS.WEBSERVICEREST.REST.SYSTEM.STATUS)
:ENDWHILE

I am executing a REST job as above. Post process of the REST job writes the value to VARA object fetching from an API.

Script object is inside a workflow. When I execute a workflow it works properly.

But when I execute the same workflow with Release Automation, script objects starts executing but the REST job executed with ACTIVATE_UC_OBJECT does not start executing.

It remains in "generating" status.

REST Job selected as "Runtime" for "Generate Job at"
Script object selected as "Activation time" for "Generate Job at"

What could be the issue?
