Would like to know our JWP log(s) are updating properly

Discussion created by Malik_Abdul_8942 on Oct 10, 2017

Question:

We are running one JWP in our Production Environment. Checking the latest JWP log(s) show very little information when compared to other WP logs. Is this normal?

Solution:

The easiest way to verify that JWP is running is to execute a few searches via the AWI and then look at the JWP log files and you will see the time stamp and the content of the search you performed. Below is an example of JWP logs containing searches via AWI

0171010/102849.414 - U00045048 Start search of objects '*' in client '1090'.
20171010/102849.430 - U00045051 The index needs to be updated before a search can be exeucted. '119' objects have been modified.
20171010/102851.586 - U00045052 The index of client '1090' was successfully updated.
20171010/102851.586 - U00045049 Query '*' returned '10' hits in '2156' milliseconds.
20171010/103308.323 - U00045048 Start search of objects '*at OR **at*' in client '1090'.
20171010/103308.527 - U00045049 Query '*at OR **at*' returned '10' hits in '204' milliseconds.
20171010/103308.870 - U00045048 Start search of objects '*athen OR **athen*' in client '1090'.
20171010/103308.902 - U00045049 Query '*athen OR **athen*' returned '2' hits in '32' milliseconds.
20171010/103309.230 - U00045048 Start search of objects '*athena OR **athena*' in client '1090'.
