Hello, we are on version 10. Has anyone put UNIX agents in a cluster such as  windows agents?

If so, did you just follow this or are there some other instructions to follow?

    Agents

Agents can also run in a cluster.

    1. Install the agent in a separate directory.
    2. Enter the cluster's virtual IP address in the INI-file parameterUC_EX_IP_ADDR(section [VARIABLES]).
    3. Install the ServiceManager on all the cluster's computers in order to ensure that the agents can be started if the computer is changed. The ServiceManager must be available as a cluster service.

You can use Agent Group instead:
    https://docs.automic.com/documentation/webhelp/english/AWA/12.1/DOCU/12.1/AWA%20Guides/help.htm#AWA/AdministrationPerspective/AG_agent_groups.htm?

In addition, AE v10 is quite old, you should upgrade AE it soon :)

    Dat_Nguyen-Tat_9196/ Automic,

What will be advantages/disadvantages of using Agent Groups vs UC_EX_IP_ADDR Agent clustering and specifying load balancer IP address when using AE12.0/ARA7?

    Thanks,
