Notification Recipients - unable to add email address (v.11.2.4)

I 've been trying to create CALL.MAIL.HTML type of object, and adding a list of email addresses to the Recipients tab. However, it seem that it only lets me either add Groups or Users that are set up in Automic, but not the individual email  addresses.

Every time I enter an email address and hit Save, the email address disappears.

Automic version:11.2.4

This started happening after the upgrade from v9 to v11.

Any help would be much appreciated.
