I had the
same question years ago and the final answer was:
checked with our development, but unfortunately there is no such feature. So this
might be a valuable product enhancement request.However I
can think of the following solutions:
(A) Make a
daily “dummy” modification to the Schedule Object and Reload the Definition.This is currently not possible, because there is no Script Function to do so.
(B) Set the
reload flag in the database every day for Schedule Object.The following update SQL statement would do this for all JSCH currently active
update eh set eh_reloadflag=1 where eh_reloadflag=0 and eh_otype='JSCH' and eh_status=1550;
the Schedule on a daily base a few minutes before the turnaround.Start a
Script 5 minutes before the turnaround, as last task in the JSCH. This Script can
terminate its parent (the Schedule) and activate it again, both actions are possible
using Script Functions.
