Hi Jan,
The information that our development is looking into, is when glibc is updated from 2.17-196.el7, to 2.17-222.el7 , our installer for the ITCM agent (a utility called lsm), is throwing an error.
We have another CA product, CA SysEdge, where a customer has reported using the following workaround, to get the SysEdge agent installed:
1- yum downgrade glibc glibc-common glibc-devel glibc-devel
2- Install sysedge (or in our case, ITCM)
3- Upgrade glibc again.
The idea being that lsm is only used to install/upgrade/uninstall the ITCM (or SysEdge) agent, therefore a temporary downgrade will allow you to install the product.
Note I'm not suggesting this as a permanent solution, just as a workaround until we can get the issue sorted since the changes to glibc.
I'm sure there will be more to follow next week...
