Hello All,

We are using CA UIM-8.51 and snmp collector probe-3.43. Issue is that we have one isp which is providing 2 Mbps BW and that is terminated on one port of our router. But that port speed is 1 Gbps, now when trying to generate bandwidth utilization report on that particular port it is calculating on 1 Gbps rather than on 2 Mbps..

So is there any setting so that i can change the port speed in uim to 2 mbps..for that particular port.

I have tried this and force rediscover the same..but it still shows 1 Gbps...

Should work... Did you wait long enough? I guess this is updating the value in the qos xN tables, so you'll have to wait for new percentage to be calculated, and run a report on a timeframe only AFTER the modification.

Visualized speed value for port in various area (snmpcollector probe GUI and USM) don't get affected.

"interface speed override" feature only affects performance data how its calculated.

if don't see any performance data difference after the change, let us know vendor of your network device.
