  • 1.  NCM to change switch partial switch names

    Can NCM be used to change the partial name of a large group of switches. We have about 400 devices that  start with say "name1-200-32-1",  name1-200-32-2", etc. and we would like to mass change the first part of the system name from name1- to name2- on all 400 devices. Can we accomplish this this NCM?

    Hi Patrick,

     

    Since no one has tried to answer you, I will give it a try.

    It appears that this can be done via a Policy in NCM or MuliLine Block Policy.

     

    The example in the docs is somewhat similar to what you are trying to accomplish.
