  • 1.  Assignment in Alarms to email?

    Hi All,

    Is there a way to set up an auto operator or other feature to allow you to send an email to a person or group of persons if the alarm is selected and identifier chosen from the GUI. Like the way you select Service_desk  in the GUI box and it sends the alarm to a service desk ticket?

    Not that I can think of. The actions for changing and sending alarms are all done while the alarm message is still in the bus. Once the alarm shows up in the gui it is off the bus and now in a database.

    you can setup email notifications for on assignment.

    So If you assign a user to an alarm they can be notified.

    Email on Assignment: converts assigned alarms into emails and sends to the email addresses defined in the profiles.
    Default: Not selected
