  • 1.  ACID in joblog

I would like to see in the joblog what ID and GROUP is being used. Something like this: START  JOBNAME AAXXXXX  IS ASSIGNED TO USER AAXXXX  , GROUP AAxxxxx.

I have seen this in RACF and in ACF2. This is automatically generated for STC's.

Does Top Secret have the capability  for batch jobs.

    We are z/OS V.2.2 and TSS R16.

    Thank You

    Mark,

TSS doen't have that exact message but we have have the TSS7000I message. It doesn't have GROUP though.

    Is that not showing up?

No - this message is not being displayed in the batch jobs.

For my normal user account - I do not see the TSS message  but for my TSS admin account the message does get displayed in  the job output.

Would you know what controls this action ?

    Thank You

Facility option [NO]LUMSG controls the issuance of message TSS7000I.

Facility option [NO]STMSG control the issuance of message ID TSS7001I.

Message ID TSS7001I is always issued for administrative accessor IDs.

It is quite simple to issue an additional message for the group ID via the TSS Installation Exit (TSSINSTX) at exit point ID "POSTINIT".
