    Hi Team,

     

    While adding the Resources in Team tab via XOG that user is not receiving email. Even though I have checked that user Notification Email is checked.

     

    If we add the Resource Manually then that user received the Email.

     

    While doing via XOG mail not receiving...Kindly advice on this...

    I assume you are referring to the OOTB email notification. It is actually triggered when a participant(and not a staff member) is added to the project. The default behavior is that staff members are automatically added as participants and hence emails are triggered. The global option is available under Project Management settings.

     

    In your case, I guess it can either be that the user is already a participant before you added as staff member or user is added as a staff member but not as participant.

    Hi Bandaru,

     

    Via XOG Before I added the user, I checked that user is not in Staff member and not in Participant.

     

    so in that case via XOG why that user is not receiving Email.

    Do you see the user being added as participant when you add via XOG?

    Yes, I saw that user is added as a participant as well Staff.

     

    Please find the attached code.

     

    My query is not receiving the EMAIL that user.(If we add manually user received the mail, but via XOG user is not receiving mail its not working)

    Atleast, does the user receive Clarity notification?

    Another possibility is that the XOG user has invalid email address. Can you please check that once?

    Yes, I checked Home=>Oraganizer>Notification that user received it,but not receiving the email.

     

    Email address is valid  eventhough  we checked and added my team members well they are not recieving the email

    Just to be clear, I was actually referring to the email address of the XOG user(the user account you are using to send XOG requests) and not the team member's

    So we are using to send XOG requests ? can we handle the below information in gel script?

    Did it work after correcting the email address of the XOG User account?

    No,User account email address is correct but not receiving the EMAIL via XOG while adding the resource in Team

    Shouldn't be there a gel email clause/code being added within the XML file? Just wondering!

    This is the Out of the Box notification which does not involve a process(or gel script)

    Hi Muthukumaran,

     

    I suppose there is a bug associated with CA PPM recent versions when there are issues when sending email notifications to users via xog, process, etc. I am not very sure, but, I have had similar issues with our company CA PPM users. What version of CA PPM are you using? You may also have to check if your DB has been upgraded to the latest version as well as if the emails are being sent out to the correct email id's (as mentioned by Sridhar). Can you check the security logs files?
